Amidst glowing reviews, I received an invitation to a birthday celebration at a highly acclaimed restaurant. Stepping inside, I was immediately struck by its modern and chic ambiance—a stark contrast to the comforting allure of its soul food offerings.

Despite the tempting array of dishes on the menu, I couldn't resist indulging in the classics: fried chicken, collard greens, and potatoes. As I eagerly awaited my meal, I couldn't help but notice the mixed feedback from other patrons—many echoing sentiments of being able to replicate the dishes at home with greater success.

Nevertheless, when my plate arrived, I couldn't deny the appeal of the perfectly crispy fried chicken, the hearty greens, and the comforting potatoes. While the reviews may have cast doubt, one bite was all it took to reaffirm the restaurant's dedication to delivering soulful flavors that, while perhaps familiar, still managed to evoke a sense of warmth and nostalgia. I was quite disappointed that my food and my drink were only okay.

We had the opportunity to speak with him about business and   he took the time to tell us about the menu and the popular items. Daniel made sure we were enjoying our time and the great food. We started with the family size Tom Yum Soup, which we couldn't get enough of, until our dishes were placed in front of our faces. We stopped drinking long enough to dig into the main course. The  Rasa Sayang Ayam, Udang Kelapa  was amazing. I was beyond full but I couldn't help but scoop another spoon full of the Chicken and shrimp from those overflowing coconut shells. I ordered the Thai Spicy Beef Pad See U, which was good as well, but not nearly as mouth watering as the Rasa Sayang Ayam, Udang Kelapa.  The Curry dishes are the next on our list to try at Rasa Sayang.

Greg decided to meet me in Tampa, FL and took me on a tour of Tampa on foot and by bus to see the downtown skyscrapers, gives the look of the city life mix Columbus, GA. Our last  destination was Ybor City, FL. Ybor City looks like an old town mix of Columbus and Savannah, GA. The city has quiet street with industries and homes sitting along the boulevard, followed by the center of town where there is a long strip of small businesses with and older district feel.  We checked out some spots and came across this restaurant, from the street we admired the architecture and the stone and tile work all over the building. We took pictures and where dying to go inside to check it out.   The inside of the restaurant was even nicer than the outside. It was breath-taking, like walking into a foreign city or a Zorro movie
